Sherry Berg Sherry Berg (Charlotte) is a proud DC native and Registered Dietitian. Recent local credits include: Roberta/Delores in Working ( (The Keegan Theatre), Sophia in Night of the Living Golden Girls (The Landless Theater Company), Pace Creagan in The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek (Spooky Action Theater), Big Mary in Stage Door (The American Century Theater), Una in Blackbird (Capital City Players, WATCH nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a play). Joshua Dick Joshua Dick (Harry Toukarian) returns to 1st Stage after recently performing in Three Bears, Parfumerie, Don’t Dress for Dinner and Jack and the Bean-Stalk. DC AREA: Keith Burgess in Stage Door (American Century Theater); Male Swing in Sweeney Todd and Eunuchs u/s in The Visit (Signature Theater); Tom the Crocodile in Spot's Birthday Party (Adventure Theater); Ernie Lally in A Man of No Importance (Keegan Theater); Charlie Cowell in The Music Man (Washington Savoyards); Ren McCormack in Footloose (AHC Summerstock); and Philo Farnsworth in The Farnsworth Invention (Alchemy Theater). Joshua has a BA in Musical Theatre Performance from American University and serves as the Production Manager for the Apron Theater Co. Sam Edgerly Sam Edgerly (Kenny/Ensemble), a recent Musical Theatre graduate from American University, is thrilled to be making his professional début at 1st Stage. Former credits include Matt Poncelet in Dead Man Walking and Guido in Nine (American University).
Davis Hasty Davis Hasty (Willy/Narrator/Ensemble) is pleased to make his debut performance at 1st Stage. He was last seen as Arthur in Ah, Wilderness! (Arena Stage). Other local credits include Becky's New Car (Bay Theatre), Charlotte's Web and The Little Engine that Could (Adventure Theatre), One Flea Spare (Forum Theatre), Wrinkle in Time (Round House Theatre), and Rock'n'Roll (Studio Theatre). He will be seen next as a Founding Father in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Studio Theatre).
Stephen Hock Stephen Hock (Mr. Stanley/Ensemble) is excited to be doing his first performance at 1st Stage. D.C. Mary Beth Luckenbaugh Mary Beth Luckenbaugh (Elsa/Ensemble) makes her 1st Stage debut. She has been previously seen as Helen in Spot's Birthday Party (Adventure Theatre MTC) and female swing in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Keegan Theatre). Mary Beth holds her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from the Catholic University of America. Upcoming: Rita in Marathon '33 (American Century Theatre) and Rita/Young Julia in James Joyce's The Dead (Quotidian Theatre).

Susan Devine Susan Devine (director) is very excited to bring Flora the Red Menace to 1st Stage and the Washington area. As founding director of Providence Players in Fairfax, VA, she directed multiple plays including You Can’t Take It With You, The Best Man, I Never Sang for My Father, and co-wrote (with Paul Nasto) the musical Let Me Sing. Other credits include Some Girls, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, and CHICAGO (WATCH award for Best Direction of a Musical).
Paul Nasto Paul Nasto (music director) is happy to be joining the 1st Stage family. Paul has worked as music director, conductor, technical director, sound designer, and light designer. Some of his credits include: The Good Doctor (sound design), Twelve Angry Men (technical director), Heaven Can Wait (technical director), I Never Sang For My Father (composition of original music), COMPANY (musical director), Good Help is So Hard to Murder (technical director), The King and I (lighting design), Some Girls (technical director), PIPPIN (conductor), A Year with Frog and Toad (conductor), CHICAGO (music director), The Drowsy Chaperone (music director), NINE (music director), The Fantasticks (music director). In 2010, Paul won the WATCH award for BEST MUSIC DIRECTOR for his work on CHICAGO.
